I have been taking my car here for years. Today, my check engine light came on and flashing and service traction control light came on. I told my car in without an appointment and tge took it right in. Turns out mice built a nest in the engine compartment and looks like they chewed on some wires. They gave me a loaner. Will talk to Erin tomorrow to find out the damages. All the staff personal are great.

If you care about your life do not get service done at this shop. Purposely took advantage of my wife because she was a female. Then did half the work on her power steering pump and half the work on her master cylinder. Didn't bolt the new master cylinder, then replaced the high pressure hose and not the power steering pump also. Knowing that that when your power steering pump goes bone dry, that the gaskets usually go bad. Power steering pump blew while my wife was driving 55 mph an hour down the highway. One month later while she was at the grocery store pulling out of her parking spot her brakes went out. All from pervious service work! When confronted, they said they where trying to save us money. I guess they really didn't care about our lives.

Hello, We do our best to give every customer 5 star service, and we care a lot about our customers like they are our family. We had tried to reach out to you guy's many times with no luck. We believe your review is unfair, we never did any brake jobs on your wife's vehicle, you say we serviced the brakes, we have no record of that ? You had 2 different issue's with your power steering on your wife's truck, Each time we only fixed what was wrong and nothing more. We don't have a crystal ball to know exactly what the next thing to go wrong with your wife's truck will be, or any other customers vehicles ? So we just replace the bad parts and go from there. We go by Factory scheduled maintenance and by inspections. If we don't see an Issue we are not going to recommend replacing a part, unless it's a common issue part like on a suspension system on a vehicle. Example; if you have 1 strut leaking oil, we don't just replace the one we do them in a pair. On a older vehicle like yours where would you stop, you can say the whole thing is going to fail soon and will need to be rebuilt, but no we don't do that. As for the power steering pump, the pump was working good when it left the first time. It had no issue's after a test drive so we did not recommend a replacement, should we have, maybe that is up for debate, one thing is for sure we did not take advantage of you or your wife. My experience 9 out of 10 times that pump will go along time without any issue's, about the same failure rate as installing a new rebuilt pump, 1 out of every 10 pumps fail under warranty, and that has nothing to do with the Technician, just the fact that a lot of the parts are made in Mexico and they don't have good quality control all the time. Yes, we do our best to save the customers money, we also do our best to look out for future Issus's for our customers. The last time you were here we got screamed at, we took your rant, and threats, that's fine maybe you needed to vent. So we gave you and your wife $222.75 off the labor on the power steering pump. We also gave out a free car wash. We have tried to reach out to you guys and you have not returned our call yet. We would like to talk so we can come up with a resolution to make you guy's happy and be fair to our shop as well. Yes you guy's had unfortunate problems with your 2013 Cadillac Escalade with over 130K miles on the vehicle. These vehicles are not known for reliability as they age just check consumer reports they have lots of issue's when there over 100k miles and 10 years old. In conclusion we are all just human beings, we at Minnesota Automotive care very much about all our customers, we strive to be better everyday.... We are just a small business with families to care for as well. Giving us a 1 star review is not fare as your information is not correct and many assumptions were made on your part... thanks and take care...

After getting the run around at another area shop I used for several years, I decided to give MN Automotive a try. They delivered excellence service & went above & beyond what I ever experienced at the other shop. They gained my trust & new customers. Any time I have a problem I just call them & they are ready to book an appointment & take a look to see what the problem is. I have only received exceptional service & great customer service from MN Automotive & they are a family owned, local business. They get the job done right the first time & have never had any issues. I will continue to refer others to them. If I could give them a 10-Star, I would. Thanks Aaron & Crew your team rocks!
